Meet NOVA Women's Choral Collective
NOVA is a project-based treble ensemble dedicated to thoughtful, community-engaged choral performance. Rooted in collaboration, reflection, and artistic excellence, NOVA brings women’s voices together to explore music that speaks meaningfully to the world around us. Rather than a traditional weekly-season model, NOVA gathers singers for focused projects that combine independent preparation, concentrated rehearsals, and performances designed to foster deep listening and shared experience.

Each project centers on a unifying theme - drawn from history, lived experience, or present-day concerns - and uses choral music as a way to tell stories, invite reflection, and encourage connection across communities. Repertoire spans contemporary and historical works for women’s voices, with particular attention to living composers, new music, and underrepresented perspectives. Collaborations with local organizations, artists, and community partners are an essential part of this work, ensuring that performances are responsive, relevant, and grounded in place.

NOVA welcomes skilled and committed singers who value musical preparation, expressive performance, and the opportunity to engage audiences in meaningful ways. Participation is flexible and project-based, allowing artists to contribute according to their availability while maintaining a high artistic standard.

Through carefully curated programming and intentional collaboration, NOVA creates choral experiences that honor memory, deepen understanding, and strengthen the bonds between singers, listeners, and the wider community.
