Jennifer Kane
Jennifer Kane is an active conductor of ensembles that specialize in treble repertoire. As the Founder and Executive Artistic Director of NOVA Women’s Choral Collection, she combines her passion for this repertoire with a love for building community, a belief in the strength of women’s voices, an eagerness to forge new paths for the choral music experience, and a dash of entrepreneurial spirit. Kane’s recent engagements include serving as Music Director of Cantilena Women’s Chorale in Arlington, MA, and Guest Conductor of the Concord Women’s Chorus.
Kane was also a conductor with the Handel and Haydn Society Youth Choruses, where she directed children aged 8 -15 in rehearsals, performances, and regional tours. A frequent clinician and guest conductor, Kane has prepared choirs for collaborations with groups such as the Back Bay Chorale, Boston Musica Viva, the Boston Symphony Orchestra, the Cantata Singers, Canopy Studios, Voices Rising, and the Worcester Chorus.
